Man arrested on child pornography charges
POCA, W.Va. -- An area registered sex offender has been arrested as a result of an investigation into child pornography activities.
On Monday, June 23, the West Virginia State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Poca resident Patrick Glen Moore, 40, for failure to provide a change of required information as a registered sex offender. In addition, Brenden George Vilone, 20, of Huntington was also arrested for possession of child pornography.
These arrests came as a result of an ongoing investigation into suspected possession and distribution of child pornography through peer-to-peer file sharing activity over the Internet. Other charges are possible pending a complete digital forensic examination by the WVSP Digital Forensics Unit.
Both suspects have been released on bond.
