Get ready to tee off at the Chamber golf tournament
HURRICANE, W.Va. -- AEP John Amos Plant and City National Bank will sponsor the 24th annual Putnam County Chamber of Commerce golf tournament.
The event will take place on Monday, July 14, with registration at 9 a.m., tee-off at 10 a.m. and the day concluding with dinner and awards. The dinner sponsor is Toyota Motor Manufacturing, West Virginia, Inc. Associate sponsors are BB&T, Diamond Electric Manufacturing Corporation, Inc., Parkline, Inc., Pray Construction Company, Triad Engineering, Inc., Tyree, Embree, & Leslie, PLLC and Eagle Research. The tournament will be scramble format.
As a bonus, Courts Motors/Cecil Courts and Saturn of Charleston Huntington/Mike Funk, will both sponsor hole-in-one contests. Any golfer to hit a hole-in-one at one of the designated par-three holes will win a new car.
The Chamber is accepting team registrations, hole sponsorships and prize donations. Team sponsorships will be $600 for members, $675 for non-members and $175 for a single player. Confirmation numbers will be assigned upon receipt of registration to the Chamber. This confirmation number will be needed to register your team the day of the tournament. In addition to the round of golf, this price will include an individual gift, lunch, and dinner at the close of the tournament. Premier raffle prizes will also be available at $10 per raffle.
Individual hole sponsorships are $175, and businesses have the option to have representatives with marketing materials and/or refreshments at their hole during the tournament. Advance notice is required for all businesses wishing to be present at their hole. Businesses choosing to take advantage of hole sponsorships or door prize donations will be listed in the official tournament program. These gifts provide an excellent means for area businesses to showcase their products without being present.
