Fraud reported at trailer park in Poca
WINFIELD -- The following information comes from Putnam County Sheriff's Department incident reports:
FRAUD: A resident at 1000 Low Meadow Trailer Park in Poca reported fraud. An investigation is still pending.
LARCENY: A larceny was reported in the 40 block of North River Lane in Bancroft. Deputies don't have a suspect at this time.
SHOPLIFTING: Deputies were called to the 3800 block of Teays Valley Road in Hurricane for a reported shoplifter. The suspect was gone when police arrived.
ARREST: Anthony Michael Young was arrested by deputies for an alleged DUI.
LARCENY: Deputies were called to the 400 block of Hurricane Creek Road to investigate a reported larceny. Police are still investigating.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: Deputies are investigating reported destruction of property on Hedrick Road in Scott Depot.
VANDALISM: Deputies responded to a vandalism complaint on U.S. 60 in Hurricane. The incident is still under investigation.
ARREST: Brian Hartley and Stephen Paxson were arrested and charged with operating a meth lab.
SHOPLIFTING: Police issued a citation for shoplifting in the 1400 block of W.Va. 62 in Poca.
BREAKING AND ENTERING: Deputies are investigating a reported breaking and entering of an automobile in the 160 block of Spite Road in Hurricane.
HARASSING PHONE CALLS: A person in the 120 block of Teays Hollow Road in Hurricane reported harassing phone calls. The report is still under investigation.
BREAKING AND ENTERING: Deputies are investigating rash of vehicle break-ins. The incidents occurred in the 200 block of Sun Valley Drive in Scottt Depot; the 170 block of Crestridge Drive in Scott Depot; and the 4100 block of Teays Valley Road in Scott Depot. All occurrences are still under investigation.
HARASSING PHONE CALLS: Deputies are investigating reported phone harassment in the 190 block of Poplar Fork Road in Hurricane. Police has a suspect.
LARCENY: Deputies are investigating a reported larceny in the 200 block of W.Va. 34 South in Hamlin.
STOLEN PROPERTY: Property was reportedly taken from the 1500 block of Poca River Road North. Police are still investigating.
