Suspicious vehicle reported

The following information was taken from Putnam County Sherriff's office official reports.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 2400 Block of U.S. 60 in Hurricane. The vehicle left the area before law enforcement's arrival.

BREAKING AND ENTERING: Breaking and entering was reported at the 60 Block Limburger Creek in Poca. The Putnam County Sheriff's Department has a suspect but the incident is still being investigated.

DRUGS: Less than 15 grams of marijuana was found during a traffic stop along Route 817 and Vetroux Road.

VEHICLE DAMAGED: A hit and run was reported in the 100 Block of Great Teays Boulevard in Scott Depot. The incident is still under investigation.

PROWLERS: A prowler complaint was called in at the 300 Block 5 and 20 Mile Creek Road. The suspect departed prior to police arrival. Another prowler complaint was called in from Woodbend Cove in Winfield.

STOLEN PROPERTY: Property was reported stolen from the 2000 block of Poca River Road South in Poca. Police have a suspect but the crime is still under investigation.

BURGLARY: A burglary was reported at Hometown Mobile Home Park in Hometown.
