HURRICANE -- The Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2440 U.S. 60, Hurricane, is looking for people who want to participate in the Arts and Crafts division of the Fall Festival on Sept. 21. The inside spaces, which are 10-by-10 feet, are $20, and outside spaces are $15.

Brightside Quartet to sing at Baptist church
HURRICANE -- The Brighterside Quartet will sing at the Sycamore Baptist Church at 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 9. The church is located on Sycamore Road, Hurricane.

Winfield church to host vacation Bible school
WINFIELD -- Winfield United Methodist Church invites children ages 3-11 to "VBS Kingdom Rock: Where Kids Stand Strong for God," from 6-8:30 p.m. June 17-21.
Kids will participate in Bible-learning activities including crafts, songs, games and science demonstrations.
A light dinner will be served each day at 5:30 p.m.; donations accepted.
Kids can also check out the VBS Feature Pet, which will be an animal from the local shelter that is available for adoption.

Mt. Salem church to host vacation Bible school
HURRICANE -- Mt. Salem United Methodist Church invites children to attend its "Son West Round Up" vacation Bible school from 6:30 to 8 p.m. nightly, June 10-14.

Classes will be offered for kindergarten through grade six. There will be crafts and refreshments nightly. Friday, June 14, will feature a weiner roast to close out the VBS.
