Visual Volume to debut 2013 show

POCA — Poca High School’s show choir, Visual Volume, will have its annual Spaghetti Dinner and Competition Show Preview on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at the high school.

The choir will perform its 2013 show, “Life is an Adventure,” at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. Doors open for the dinner at noon.

Patrons can enjoy a spaghetti dinner either before or after any performance. Tickets are $7 and can be purchased at the door or in advance by contacting any member of the choir.

Visual Volume is an auditioned ensemble that represents Poca High School in a variety of community, festival, and competitive events.

“Visual Volume consistently entertains their audience with their unique and intriguing show concepts,” according to a news release. “In 2012, Visual Volumntre placed First Runner Up Overall at Cabell Midland and Riverside, while being name Grand Champions at the WVMEA State Show Choir Festival. Visual Volume also took caption awards for best vocals, best band, best choreography, best show design, best male soloist, best costumes, and best stage crew.”
