HPD seeking info on home invasion
HUNTINGTON -- No arrests had been made Wednesday night in connection with a home invasion that took place Tuesday night.
The incident began at 9 p.m. at a residence in the 2500 block of 12th Avenue, where a 56-year-old man said three men broke down a back door of the residence and came inside wielding firearms and demanding cash and drugs, according to the police report filed with the Huntington Police Department.
The man reported one of the suspects struck a person in the home with his firearm while the other two suspects searched the residence. The suspects fled the residence with $10 in cash, a pack of cigarettes and at least two cellphones. No one was seriously injured.
K9 units responded to the scene Tuesday, but they were unable to locate the suspects.
