Blotter: Front door broken out of local business, no theft reported
The following information was provided by reports filed with the Huntington Police Department:
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: An employee at Archer's Flowers in the 500 block of 10th Street in Huntington reported someone shattered the glass door of the business sometime overnight on Friday, Nov. 9. The business sustained $800 in damage. Nothing was reported missing from the business.
BREAKING AND ENTERING TO VEHICLE: A 28-year-old woman reported someone forced entry into her vehicle and took $400 in electronics sometime between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday. Her vehicle sustained $300 in damage.
STOLEN AUTO: A 35-year-old woman reported someone stole a dirt bike worth $950 from her front yard in the 1500 block of Jefferson Avenue sometime Wednesday morning.
The following information was provided by booking records at the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville:
Shawna Kessick, 32, was incarcerated Wednesday evening. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with two felony counts of forgery, along with misdemeanor receiving/transferring stolen property, shoplifting, obstruction, petit larceny and battery. Bond was $41,250.
Gregory Curtis Cox, 31, was incarcerated Wednesday evening. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with a felony home confinement violation. Bond was denied.
Michael Edward Adkins, 28, was incarcerated Wednesday evening. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with two counts of felony fraudulent use of an access device and misdemeanor receiving/transferring stolen property. Bond was $25,000.
Robert Wade Walker, 53, was incarcerated Wednesday evening. Authorities charged him with being a fugitive from justice. Bond was denied.
