Cabell-Wayne Association for the Blind receives donation from nTelos promotion
HUNTINGTON -- The Cabell-Wayne Association of the Blind recently benefited from a promotion by local cellphone provider nTelos.
The company, located at 949 3rd Ave. in Huntington, offered new customers special rates and with each new account donated $35 to the Cabell-Wayne Association of the Blind.
"This is a great opportunity for us to help our community," Jason Newhaus, nTelos sales representative, said in a release. "We're really proud to help such a worthy organization,"
The company made a donation of $1,610 to Paul Slone, executive director of the Association of the Blind.
"We certainly appreciate the generosity of nTelos," Slone said in a release. "This will go a long way in funding services for the blind and visually impaired.
