More than $127,000 in Project Safe Neighborhood grants awarded

CHARLESTON -- Charles T. Miller, United States Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia, announced the Project Safe Neighborhoods Task Force awarded more than $127,000 in Project Safe Neighborhood grants to four projects.

The funds are awarded from the Bureau of Justice Assistance of the U.S. Department of Justice. The funds are administered by the West Virginia Division of Criminal Justice Services.

Funds were awarded to the Charleston Public Safety Council, $22,900, the City of Charleston, $43,206, the Hope Community Development Corporation $24,000, and the Cabell County Commission, $37,384.
