July 19, 2008 @ 12:00 AM

Authorities in Cabell County received two calls Thursday from gas stations reporting drivers speeding off without paying.

A white woman filled her car with $38.53 of gas at the Go-Mart, located at 1403 16th Street, at 7:15 a.m. Thursday morning. The clerk told Huntington Police officers that the female, described as thin with curly blond hair, pumped 8.983 gallons of gas, got into the car and drove west. The clerk said a second female with long blond hair was in the passenger seat, and a white male was in the back seat.

The Exxon Little General on Davis Creek Road in Barboursville also was the victim of a drive-off. The complainant told the Cabell County Sheriff's Office that a white female driving a red four-door sedan drove off without paying for $43.53 worth of unleaded fuel.
