Glen Campbell show rescheduled
HUNTINGTON — Due to a severe bout with laryngitis, organizers have postponed Glen Campbell’s concert originally scheduled for Sunday 3 p.m., Dec. 11 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5th at the Keith-Albee Performing Arts Center.
All tickets for the Dec. 11 date will be honored at the concert on Jan. 5, according to a release from the Marshall Artists Series.
The legendary pop and country music singer, guitarist, actor and TV host, Glen Campbell wants to say farewell to his legion of fans, and has been playing shows across the country on his “Goodbye Tour.”
After announcing his battle with Alzheimer’s disease, Campbell released his final studio album, “Ghost On The Canvas,” and has made his “Goodbye Tour,” his final concert tour.
Among his many accolades, Campbell is the winner of eight Grammy Awards, was named Entertainer of The Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Dove Awards-Country Album of the Year and is an inductee in both the Musicians Hall of Fame and Country Music Hall of fame.
