Huntington man arrested following reported beating

HUNTINGTON -- The following information was provided by reports filed by the Huntington Police Department:

MALICIOUS WOUNDING: Walter Michael Murphy, 19, of Huntington, was arrested on a felony charge of malicious wounding following an incident in the 900 block of West 9th Street around 7 p.m. Thursday.

Police responded to a home on a disturbance call and found a man lying on the floor, appearing to be in great pain. He told them his left leg was broken and that Murphy had knocked him to the ground and repeatedly stomped on his knee.

Murphy was located in a nearby house and taken into custody. The victim was transported to Cabell Huntington Hospital.

BURGLARY: A Huntington resident reported someone broke into a home in the 2700 block of Guyan Avenue between 8:45 a.m. and 8:10 p.m. Thursday and stole a gun, two gaming consoles and a video game. The total loss is estimated to be $910.

The following information was provided by booking records from the Western Regional Jail:

Timothy Arden Campbell, 49, was incarcerated at 7:20 p.m. Friday. Authorities in Cabell County arrested him on a bond revocation. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Elizabeth Hardiman, 36, was incarcerated at 12:50 p.m. Friday. Authorities in Cabell County arrested him on a bond revocation. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Randall Lee Walker, 37, was incarcerated at 12:40 p.m. Friday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony uttering. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Robert Allen Ray, 21, was incarcerated at 11:10 a.m. Friday. Authorities in Cabell County arrested him on a felony warrant. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Asim Kajon McCoy, 33, was incarcerated at 10:50 a.m. Friday. Authorities in Wayne County arrested him on a felony warrant. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Jden William Adkins, 27, was incarcerated at 1:50 a.m. Friday. Authorities in Wayne County charged him with felony unlawful wounding. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Walter Michael Murphy, 19, was incarcerated Thursday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony malicious wounding. Bond was $25,000.

Caleb Joshua Fannin, 23, was incarcerated Thursday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with an unspecified, three-count felony bench warrant. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Evelyn Marie Coronato, 42, was incarcerated Thursday. Authorities in Wayne County charged her with being a fugitive from justice. Bond was denied.

Jamie Allen Kirk, 42, was incarcerated Thursday. Authorities in Putnam County charged him with felony obtaining property by false pretenses. He was released on bond.
