Tennis tourney for hospice set in Ashland

ASHLAND -- The 6th Annual Community Hospice Tennis Tournament is scheduled for Friday, June 6, through Sunday, June 8, at the Ashland Tennis Center. Registrations will be accepted until noon Tuesday, June 3.

Entry fees are $20 per event per player with a three-event limit. All participants will receive a free T-shirt, and awards will be presented to the winners and finalists in each event. A player cookout is scheduled to take place at noon Saturday at the tennis center.

All matches will be played at the Ashland Tennis Center. Friday matches will begin at 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday matches begin at 8 a.m.

All proceeds from the tournament benefit the programs and services of Community Hospice.
