Multiple cases of theft reported to police

Police reports from the Huntington Police Department provided the following information:

A 54-year-old Huntington man reported that $2,000 was stolen from a cabinet at his residence in the 1600 block of East Road about 11:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Police have one suspect.

LARCENY: A 32-year-old Huntington woman reported that her wallet was taken from her purse at the Huntington Treatment Center, 135 4th Ave.

The incident occurred between 7 and 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

LARCENY: A 35-year-old Huntington woman reported that $1,200 was taken from her purse while visiting a friend about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1800 block of Monroe Avenue.

BREAKING AND ENTERING: A 38-year-old Huntington man reported that someone broke into an unoccupied residence and cut the copper piping from the water heater about 1 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of Slater Court.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A 36-year-old Huntington woman reported that someone spray-painted a black line on the passenger side of her vehicle between 2 and 6 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of Van Buren Avenue.

BURGLARY: A 22-year-old Huntington man reported that someone broke a basement window at his residence and stole items between 4 p.m. Saturday and 7:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Felon reports from the Western Regional Jail's booking records provided the following information:

Delbert Ray McCoy, 51, was incarcerated at 2:35 a.m. Thursday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with a felony warrant. He is being held without bond pending arraignment.

Brandy Lee Stevenson, 34, was incarcerated at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Putnam County charged her with a felony warrant for failing to appear in court. She is being held without bond.

Danny Ray Mollett, 32, was incarcerated at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony uttering and misdemeanor providing false information. He is being held without bond.
