Frankie D's kicks off new year with wine tasting
HUNTINGTON -- Frankie D's Italian Chophouse is ready to go around the world with wines as the new restaurant kicks off 2009 with a wine tasting.
Tony Anglin, general manager at Frankie D's Italian Chop House, said the restaurant at Pullman Square will host a tasting of Italian wines from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7.
Cost for the tasting, which includes some appetizers, is $15 for Frankie D's wine club members or $25 for non-members.
Anglin said this is just the first of twice-a-month wine tastings. The next tasting, featuring Spanish wines, is set for 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21.
"We are going to go around the globe with it and educate people about wine and how wine and food are paired," Anglin said.
