Police blotter: Woman reports $7,000 worth of property stolen

Reports from the Huntington Police Department provided the following information:

A resident on the 600 block of 31st Street reported several items stolen from her residence on Friday. She reported jewelry, a TV, two DVD players, a CD player and a camera stolen.

The stolen property totaled $7,000.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING: A 25-year-old man from Huntington reported being struck in the face by an unknown black male while in the 800 block of 6 1/2 alley on Friday. The man was transported to Cabell Huntington Hospital with a black eye and several bone fractures in his face.

VANDALISM: An employee of Turnpike Ford reported 14 counts of vandalism on Saturday. The employee reported seven car hoods and five trunks were scratched with a rock.

Damages totaled $6,000.

BURGLARY: A resident on the 3300 block of 5th Avenue reported several items including tools, a cable box, a projector and computer equipment stolen from her house on Saturday.

Stolen items totaled $3,475.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING: Matthew David Parsons of Poca, W.Va., was charged with felony malicious wounding on Sunday.

The arrest came after a physical altercation in the 800 block of 4th Avenue. The victim was transported to Cabell Huntington Hospital and treated for five lacerations on his back, arm, hand and chest.

Reports from the Cabell County Sheriff's Department provided the following information:

A resident on the 6500 block of Jefferson Drive in East Pea Ridge reported on Friday that her home was burglarized. The resident said she found a sliding glass door open and several items stolen that totaled $2,700.

BURGLARY: A resident in the 100 block of Howells Mills Road in Ona reported several pieces of jewelry were stolen from her house on Thursday. Stolen items totaled $1,200.

BURGLARY: The owner of a property located in the 4800 block of W.Va. 2 in Huntington reported several items stolen on Thursday. A number of home appliances including a stove, washer/dryer, refrigerator and microwave were reported stolen.

Stolen items totaled $3,125.

GRAND LARCENY: An employee of Shogun Restaurant on U.S. 60 in Barboursville reported a meat grinder and fryer stolen from the outside rear of the property on Sunday.

The stolen items totaled $1,800.

Reports from the Western Regional Jail listed the following felony bookings:

Michael Hurston Bundy, 36, was incarcerated at 3:35 a.m. Monday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony transferring/receiving stolen property and a felony warrant for failing to appear in court, along with accessory before the fact and escape. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Tracy Michelle Bundy, 29, was incarcerated at 3:35 a.m. Monday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with felony transferring/receiving stolen property and fraudulent use of an access device. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Devon Hope Dixon, 38, was incarcerated at 3 a.m. Monday. Authorities in Mason County charged him with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Glenn Williams, 36, was incarcerated at 11:45 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony transferring/receiving stolen property and forgery of a public document, along with misdemeanor driving on a suspended/revoked license and obstruction. Bond was $29,100.

Marvin Lamont Scott, 32, was incarcerated at 8:20 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with being a felon in possession of a firearm, along with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and failure to register as a sex offender. Bond was $45,000.

Jillian Leigh Smith, 26, was incarcerated at 5 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with felony fraud, along with two counts of misdemeanor receiving/transferring stolen property and one worthless check count. Bond was $20,200.

Nathan Morrison Hinshaw, 28, was incarcerated at 11 a.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony breaking and entering and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Bond was $35,000.

Sandina Dawn Martin, 35, was incarcerated at 8:20 a.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with a felony home confinement violation. Bond was denied pending a court appearance.
