Empire celebrates release of Rowling's newest book
HUNTINGTON -- Calling all magical people, Empire Books and News at Pullman Square is hosting a midnight release book party tonight for J.K. Rowling's latest book, "The Tales of Beedle the Bard."
Written and illustrated by Rowling, the writer of the Harry Potter series, the book presents Hermione Granger's new translation from the ancient runes, with an introduction, notes and illustrations by J. K. Rowling, and extensive commentary by Albus Dumbledore.
Never before have Muggles been privy to these richly imaginative tales: "The Wizard and the Hopping Pot," "The Fountain of Fair Fortune," "The Warlock's Hairy Heart," "Babbitty Rabbitty" and "Her Cackling Stump" and, of course, "The Tale of the Three Brothers."
Empire will also be doing an event from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday themed on the release of the new book.
