Festival of Trees and Trains program to benefit the needy
ASHLAND -- The Paramount Arts Center is launching a new program as part of its Festival of Trees and Trains that will help needy families.
The trees in the program will be auctioned off, and the trees will go to a family designated by the bidder. The Paramount has a list of families, or the bidder can choose a family.
The center is also offering a full day of movies on Friday, Nov. 27, with admission to the festival. The movies are 11 a.m., "Elf Sparkle Meets Christmas the Horse"; 11:30 a.m., "Babes in Toyland"; 1 p.m., "Elf Sparkle Meets Christmas the Horse"; 1:30 p.m., "Babes in Toyland"; and 3 p.m., "Elf Sparkle Meets Christmas the Horse."
The festival is open through Sunday, Nov. 29.
Tickets for the festival are $6 for adults and $4 for children.
