Comedian Ansari's antics light up Keith-Albee

Apr. 03, 2013 @ 10:53 PM

HUNTINGTON -- Funnyman Aziz Ansari managed to squeeze in two stand-up stops in the Mountain State this week, the second of which brought the star center stage at the Keith-Albee Performing Arts Center on Wednesday night.

The show was the most recent stop during Ansari's "Buried Alive" tour, which will be filmed for a comedy special next week during performances in Philadelphia.

The special will mark his third nationwide comedy tour and special, following "Intimate Moments for a Sensual Evening," released in 2010, and "Dangerously Delicious," which is available for purchase at the comedian's website. Both specials aired on Comedy Central.

He currently stars at Tom Haverford on the NBC show "Parks and Recreation."

Ansari's visit was presented by Upfront, Inc. and Marshall University's Campus Activity Board.
