Man reported he was robbed at motel
HUNTINGTON -- The following information was provided by reports filed by the Huntington Police Department:
ARMED ROBBERY: A man reported three unknown suspects robbed him at a motel in the 1000 block of Washington Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Thursday. The victim said they stole his wallet, cellphone and an undetermined amount of cash in the motel. One of the suspects was holding a pocket knife toward him, demanding he give them his belongings. The investigation is pending.
BURGLARY: A Huntington man reported someone broke into his apartment in the 90 block of 13th Street around 4 a.m. Wednesday. Surveillance video shows several men and women messing with the lock to the apartment building until they were able to gain entry. It then shows them going to the second floor where they broke into the victim's apartment. The victim said nothing was missing and identified one of the suspects.
The following information was provided by booking records from the Western Regional Jail:
Anthony Joseph Gaston, 23, was incarcerated at 2:40 p.m. Thursday. Cabell County authorities charged him with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Bond was denied.
