Wild Ramp making move to Central City
HUNTINGTON -- Thursday marked the last day of operation for local food hub the Wild Ramp at its location in Heritage Station.
Over the next few days, the Wild Ramp will be making the move to the Central City Market building, where it will reopen as the Wild Ramp at Central City.
The business was chosen by the city of Huntington to operate the market in an attempt to revitalize the city's West End in an area that was designed to produce foot traffic and local tourism.
Wild Ramp spokeswoman Raine Klover said the hub, which offers locally-produced food year round, hopes to open in the new location by late next week.
An official grand opening is set for 9 a.m. May 24.
