KENOVA — Police are searching for a man who escaped from police custody today. Kenova Police took Marcle Glenn Jenkins in custody today after two burglaries on Barger Hill overnight. Police say he escaped custody through a window in a police vehicle. He was wearing camouflage pants and a white muscle shirt. He was handcuffed in front of his body.

No serious injuries in two bus accidents

CANNONSBURG, Ky. --Emergency dispatchers reported two accidents involving school buses Friday morning. The incidents are unrelated.

The first accident involved a school bus and a deer in Boyd County, Ky. Dispatchers said it happened about 6:53 a.m. on Old U.S. 60 in Cannonsburg. It occurred close to the old 64/60 Truck Stop. Glass breakage led to some very minor injuries. Fourteen students were taken to area hospitals as a precaution, according to school officials.

The Boyd County Sheriff's Department is investigating. The eastbound lane of old U.S. 60 was closed due to the accident.

The second incident happened in Cabell County. It involved a school bus and another vehicle. It occurred about 7:30 a.m. at U.S. 60 and Malcomb Springs in Milton. No injuries were reported. The children were transferred to another bus.
