Police blotter: Woman reports two racing bicycles stolen from porch

The following information was provided by the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office:

A 39-year-old woman reported that someone took two racing bicycles from her front porch in the 6200 block of Aracoma Road sometime between midnight and 10 a.m. Friday. The bicycles were valued at $3,700.

BURGLARY/BREAKING AND ENTERING: A 48-year-old man reported that someone broke into a storage building on his property in the 2200 block of Kirby Road in Milton and stole a lawn mower, power washer and various hand tools, totaling approximately $1,000. The incident occurred between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday.

SHOPLIFTING: Donald R. Donahue, 52, of Branchland, was charged with shoplifting from Walmart, 25 Nichols Drive, Barboursville, on Thursday. Police responded to the scene and, according to reports, found Donahue pushing a shopping cart with items allegedly stolen from Macy’s, J.C. Penney’s and Sears in addition those taken from Walmart. Items totaled approximately $425. He was issued a citation and released.

The following information was provided by the Huntington Police Department:

A 19-year-old man reported a $4,000 lawn mower was stolen from a garage in the 600 block of North Boulevard sometime between 12 and 9 a.m. Friday.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: An employee at Latta’s, 1502 4th Ave., reported that someone damaged the bill receptor on a soda machine outside their business. Damages were estimated at $1,000. The incident occurred between 4:30 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

BREAKING AND ENTERING AUTO: A 30-year-old woman reported items stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in the 2300 block of Adams Avenue overnight Thursday. Items were valued at $600.

LARCENY: An employee at Lewis Memorial Baptist Church reported a golf club set and a satellite radio receiver stolen from a church vehicle while it was parked in the 1400 block of Grove Street overnight Thursday. Items were valued at $1,700.

BURGLARY: A 54-year-old man reported a television and three guns stolen from his residence in the 2900 block of 8th Avenue between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Friday. Items were valued at $1,500. Damage to the window used for entry and a gun safe was estimated at $400.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A 26-year-old man reported that someone damaged the roof of his 2003 BMW while it was parked in the 100 block of 8th Avenue between 8 p.m. Thursday and 9:30 p.m. Friday. Damage was estimated at $1,000.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A 37-year-old woman reported that her ex-boyfriend damaged two windows and the right quarter panel on her vehicle while it was parked in the 200 block of Clemm Street Saturday. Damages were estimated at $800.

BURGLARY: A 30-year-old woman reported that someone stole a laptop and cash from her residence in the 200 block of Park Circle at approximately 1 p.m. Saturday. Items were valued at $580. The suspect was described as a white male in his 20s.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A 24-year-old man reported that someone struck the passenger side front quarter panel of his vehicle while it was parked in the 1600 block of 11th Avenue on Sunday at approximately 1 p.m. Damages were estimated at $500.

BURGLARY: A 29-year-old man reported that someone forced open a door at his home in the 700 block of Jefferson Avenue and stole a television and video game console, totaling $700, between 4 p.m. Sunday, July 18, and 6 p.m. Sunday, July 25, while he was out of town.

STOLEN AUTO: A 52-year-old man reported that his girlfriend allegedly stole his 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 truck and his ATM card from their residence in the 1700 block of Arlington Boulevard. The incident was reported on Monday.

The following information was provided by the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville:

Lawrence Michael Maynard, 24, was incarcerated at 12:15 a.m. Monday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony fraudulent schemes and misdemeanor embezzlement. Bond was $15,000, but Maynard also faces misdemeanor worthless check charges in Putnam County for which there was no bond.

Alex Jacob Coon, 24, was incarcerated at 12:15 a.m. Monday. Authorities in Putnam County charged him with being a fugitive from justice and felony nighttime burglary. Bond was denied.

James Michael Vanlenten, 29, was incarcerated at 11 a.m. Monday. Authorities in Lincoln County picked him up on a bond revocation.

Shanna Grace Weekley, 31 was incarcerated at 2:20 p.m. Monday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with a bench warrant. Bond was denied.
