Cabell County Fair continues

Cabell County Fair schedule

The Cabell County Fair runs Saturday, July 17, through Saturday, July 24, at West Virginia Pumpkin Park. Tickets are $8 for regular admission Tuesday through Saturday; $5 for seniors; and children 5 and under are free, but must pay a $4 fee to ride carnival rides. Gates open at 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday at 11 a.m. Gates closes at 11 p.m. every day.

Here is the fair schedule:

Saturday, July 24

9 a.m. Mud bog registration

11 a.m. Gates open

Noon Mud Bog

1 p.m. Pie bakeoff judging

1 to 11 p.m. Gambill Amusement Carnival

1:30 to 4 p.m. Junior Fair Board Games

4 p.m. Diaper Derby (4H building)

5 to 7:15 p.m. Demolition Derby (Big Car) registration ends

5 to 6 p.m. Carnival closes for dinner

5:30 p.m. 4H Auction Fundraiser (multipurpose building)

7 p.m. Nathan Hammond

7:30 p.m. Demolition Derby (Big Car)

9 p.m. Trent Tomlinson

10 p.m. Fireworks, sponsored by Ohio Valley Bank

11 p.m. Gates close
