Get Healthy Tri-State: Number of health events scheduled for Tri-State
HUNTINGTON -- A number of health-conscious classes, programs and screenings are scheduled in the Tri-State this week. Some of the activities offered in the area:
Sibling Class, 5:30 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 7, Cabell Huntington Hospital, 1340 Hal Greer Blvd., Huntington. Future big brothers and sisters learn to help care for the new baby. Call 304-526-BABY.

Breast Cancer Support Group, 6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 9, St. Mary's Regional Heart Institute, Room 204, 2900 1st Ave., Huntington. Open to survivors, patients, family members and supportive friends. For more information, call 304-526-8399.
Mobile Health Center -- Ironton, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, Valley Medical Center, East Ring Road, Ironton. A service provided by Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital's Women's Center, services offered including osteoporosis screenings and mammography. Schedule an appointment by calling 606-836-PINK.
2010 Senior Expo, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 10, Scioto County Fairgrounds, 1193 Fairground Road, Lucasville, Ohio. Features exhibit booths, free health screenings, bingo, door prizes, entertainment, cake auction, food games and more. Sponsored by Area Agency on Aging District 7.
