August 10, 2012 @ 11:00 PM

HUNTINGTON -- West Virginia State Police have identified the man whose body was discovered inside a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot in the 3300 block of U.S. 60 Thursday afternoon.

Jimmie Lee George, 37, had recently moved to Huntington from Logan, W.Va., said West Virginia State Police Sgt. G.N. Losh, who said a preliminary investigation has led troopesrs to believe the cause of death was a drug overdose.

Investigators were awaiting autopsy results from the medical examiner's office to confirm the cause of death Friday. There were no signs of foul play at the scene, Losh said.

On Thursday, Lost said surveillance video at the store indicated that the car George was in had pulled into the parking lot more than 36 hours before the death was reported.

A customer alerted authorities about George's body leaning back in the driver's seat of his vehicle at about 4 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral services are set for Sunday in Logan.
