Fitness activity offered at farmers market

PORTSMOUTH -- Wendi Waugh and Shelly Carver with the Southern Ohio Medical Center offer a fitness activity at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 6, at the Portsmouth Farmer's Market at the Roy Rogers Esplanade, at the corner of Gallia and Chillicothe Streets.

The market is open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon.

Items available from this week's vendors include (subject to change): Maple syrup, cabbage, kale, green beans, carrots, fingerling potatoes, shag bark hickory syrup, raw honey, blackberry jelly, pear butter, sweet corn, lettuce, beets, peppers, zucchini, cucumbers, eggs, sugar snap peas, homemade baked goods, crafts and other items.
