HUNTINGTON -- There could only be one champion during the final installation of Cabell County Public Library's Battle of the Books Tuesday evening.

The "We Will Read You" team representing the West Huntington library came away with the top prize during the battle for 6th-to-8th-grade students that took place at the Main Library in Huntington.

The participants battled through a series of questions about 10 books that came from a pre-selected reading list.

The members of "We Will Read You" were Patrick Dempsey, Anna Dishman, Alyssa Watts and Ethan Wills.

Other teams participating in the battle were "Hobbit Fever" from the Milton Library, "How the Relatively Odor Free Children Got Their Name and Other Outrageous Tales About the Barboursville Library" from the Barboursville Library, "People Who Are Always Off Topic" from the Main Library, "Trans-Allegheny Lunatics" from the Salt Rock Library and the "Gallaher Village Vipers" from the Gallaher Library.
