AIDS Task Force to host carnival, auction fundraiser
HUNTINGTON -- Tri-State AIDS Task Force and the Jackhammer Club host a Carnival and Auction to raise money for the task force. The carnival will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 11, and the auction will be from 8 to 9 p.m. Saturday, July 11, all in the Jackhammer Club parking lot at 2127 Manchester Ave.
Auction items include two tickets to see Elton John in Columbus on July 14 with a one night hotel stay; Country Music Awards Ceremony package (which includes two tickets to ceremony in Nashville, Tenn., on Nov. 11, three night hotel stay on music row, two tickets to Country Music Hall of Fame); a guitar signed by Sammy Hagar, Lee Ann Rimes and Kenny Chesney; photos signed by Dolly Parton, Betty White and k.d. Lang and other items.
Tri-State AIDS Task Force provides services to those living with HIV/AIDS in the community.
