Beshear names four to judical nominating commission
CATLETTSBURG, Ky. -- Gov. Steve Beshear has named four people to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the 32nd Judicial Circuit and District of Kentucky.
Clarence E. Jackson and Jesse A. Ross, both of Catlettsburg, Ky., were named to the commission along with Jan DeLaney and Michael A. Salow of Ashland. Jackson and Ross are retired while Salow is an engineer with AEA Inc. and DeLaney is a registered nurse. The appointments for DeLaney and Ross expire Jan. 1, 2010, while the appointments of Jackson and Salow expire Jan. 1, 2012.
The commission will review applicants for Boyd County Circuit Court judge. Judge Marc I. Rosen has retired and taken senior status. A new judge could be named this summer.
