Police blotter: Vehicle reported stolen from Westmoreland Road
Reports from the Huntington Police Department provided the following information:
A 2000 Chevy Venture estimated to be worth $7,500 was stolen from the 4800 block of Westmoreland Road between 2 and 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 28.
BREAKING AND ENTERING: More than $4,700 in tires and wheels were stolen from the 1500 block of Monroe Avenue between noon Saturday and 5 a.m. Monday.
LARCENY: A $1,200, 52-inch Panasonic flat-screen television, Panasonic DVD player and digital picture frame were stolen from the 1900 block of Lee Avenue between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday.
LARCENY: Hardware valued at more than $1,300 was stolen from the 1500 block of Washington Avenue between 9 a.m. Thursday, July 16, and 9 a.m. Saturday, July 18.
LARCENY: An estimated $740 and various tools were stolen from a residence in the 1800 block of 5th Avenue West between Friday, July 3, and Monday, July 6.
BURGLARY: A Nintendo Wii, various games, and portable DVD player were stolen from a residence on Lawson Court between 9:30 a.m. 5:15 p.m. Wednesday.
BATTERY: A man was struck with a baseball bat near 8th Street and 7th Avenue around 7 p.m. Wednesday. He was struck by an unknown male who got out of a vehicle, hit him, and fled the scene.
Booking records from the Western Regional Jail provided the following information:
Donna Faye Ashworth, 34, was incarcerated around 12:55 p.m. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with felony forgery and misdemeanor receiving and transferring stolen property under $1,000. Bond was $20,000.
