HUNTINGTON -- Women of the Tri-State are invited to the "Women on the Wall" Conference 2009, presented by Ye Shall Prosper Ministries.

The event has the theme of "Reclaim Your Wholeness," based on the second book of Samuel, and it goes on Tuesday, Aug. 11, through Saturday, Aug. 15, at Pullman Plaza Hotel.

"This is an opportunity for women to actually get answers for a lot of questions that are most inherently important to them: Who am I, and what is my real purpose in life," said the Rev. Bruce P. Rogers of Living Hope Gospel Ministries in Ironton. "This has to do with women identifying with their own sense of values."

It's about liberating women to do what they're capable of doing, he said.

The schedule for the conference is as follows:

Tuesday, Aug. 11: Begins at 7:30 p.m. with Rogers of Ironton.

Wednesday, Aug. 12: Begins at 7:30 p.m. with Stacy Pack of Christ Temple Church in Huntington.

Thursday, Aug. 13: First session begins at 11 a.m. with Ravan L. Roddy of Ye Shall Prosper Ministries in Burtonsville, Md. Evening session begins at 7:30 p.m. with John A. Martin Jr. of Encouragers Fellowship Church in Huntington.

Friday, Aug. 14: First session begins at 10 a.m. with Jeannette Wheeler of the L. Commission Ministries of Covington, Wash. An afternoon session begins at 1 p.m. with Bernice Thomas of Royal Kingdom Ministries in Coples, W.Va.; and the evening session begins at 7:30 p.m. with Carolyn T. Germain of Ye Shall Prosper Ministries of Brooklyn, N.Y.

Saturday, Aug. 15: First session begins at 11 a.m. with Robyn Burke of Pure Ministries Outreach of Ironton, and an afternoon session begins at 5 p.m. with Lance A. Germain Sr. of Ye Shall Prosper Ministries in Brooklyn.
