Wayne County Health Department conducting vaccine clinic

WAYNE -- The Wayne County Health Department will conduct a H1N1 vaccination clinic for Wayne County from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. or until supplies last Saturday, Oct. 31, at the new Wayne Elementary School near Wal-Mart.

The clinic is only open to pregnant women and people ages 6 months to 24 years old. People age 21 to 24 years old should bring identification to prove their age.

Children who are brought to the clinic by someone other than their parent or legal guardian must have signed permission statements from the parent or guardian allowing the children to be vaccinated.

Vaccines will be given on a first come, first serve basis. Both FluMist and injectable vaccine will be available.

Anyone planning to attend the clinic may obtain a registration form in advance by visiting www.waynehealthdept.org.
