Boil water advisory lifted for Culloden area
CHARLESTON -- West Virginia American Water has lifted a precautionary boil water advisory for customers in the Culloden District in the Hurricane area. The advisory was issued Thursday after a water main break. Results of water quality testing confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards and there is no further need to boil water prior to consumption.
The specific area affected were Panther Lick, Sycamore Lane, Sycamore Road, Linden Lane, Wheeler Ridge, Sycamore Ridge Road, Panther Branch, Lake View Hollow, Upper Charley Creek Road, Lower Coach Road, Thompson Road, Kingswood Estates, Winchester Drive, Westminster Drive, Cambridge Drive, Easton Drive, Oxford Place, Middle Coach Road, Arrowwood Lane, Bridleway, Sycamore Trace Road, Stevens Road, Daniel Boone Trail off of W.Va. 34 and approximately 2,000 feet of W.Va. 34 going toward Hamlin past the split with U.S. 60.
