HUNTINGTON -- The Junior League of Huntington will host the 5th annual Character Breakfast on Saturday, March 13, at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena. The Character Breakfast includes a catered breakfast served with dozens of children's characters. Everyone from action and super heroes, cartoon characters to princesses will be there. In addition to the characters, there will be face painting, arts and crafts and story time.

The Character Breakfast will have two sessions and attendees may choose a 9 a.m. or an 11 a.m. ticket. Please e-mail JrLToastJam@aol.com or contact the Junior League at 304-523-4165 for tickets.

Proceeds support outreach efforts of the Junior League of Huntington and our new program Kids in the Kitchen. Kids in the Kitchen is a free program for children to be educated on healthy eating habits and life style. Cabell Huntington Children's Hospital, First State Bank, First Sentry Bank, Kara M. Schafer, D.D.S., M.S. Pediatric Dentist, Doug Reynolds and Alpha XI Delta Sorority are sponsoring the event.

The Junior League of Huntington is an organization of over 200 women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential women and improving the community through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. On an annual basis, the Junior League of Huntington contributes thousands of dollars to the Huntington community and its members volunteer more than 1000 hours.
