Big night in the books for three area schools
HUNTINGTON -- Students from three local high schools donned their formal best to step out for their respective prom nights Saturday.
Students from St. Joseph Central Catholic High School, Wayne High School and Ironton High School got gussied up for one last hurrah before graduation season begins later this month.
St. Joe students gathered for a "Moonlight Masquerade" at the Memorial Student Center on Marshall University's Campus, and students from Wayne lived "La Bella Vita," or "the beautiful life" at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena.
At Ironton High School, students participated in their traditional grand march before going inside to celebrate "A Passage to India."
The Herald-Dispatch sent photographers to Saturday's proms, and photos from those events can be viewed at www.heralddispatch.com.
Readers also can submit their own prom photos by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line "Prom Photos."
