Tractor-trailer crashes in Ironton

IRONTON -- A tractor-trailer rolled onto its side at a busy intersection Thursday morning in Ironton.

The accident occurred about 6:30 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of U.S. 52 and Ohio 93. It happened as the southbound truck turned onto U.S. 52, according to officials at the scene.

The truck was carrying a load of coal, the contents which spilled from the trailer when it turned over. Crews eventually cleared the scene at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

No injuries were reported.
