Pumpkin Run 5K set for Sept. 26
MILTON -- The West Virginia Pumpkin Festival will host the Pumpkin Run 5K run/walk event at 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Milton Baptist Church.
More than 200 runners registered for last year's event. The circular race course winds through Milton and finishes near the start line. Parking can be found at Milton Baptist Church and Milton Elementary School.
Registration costs $15 for entries received by Saturday, Sept. 19, and race day registration costs $20. T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 175 participants.
Awards will be given to the overall male and female finishers, top three male and female finishers in each age group, and top three finishers in the wheelchair division.
