Rain, high winds hit the Tri-State
Rain and high winds blew through the Tri-State Sunday night, downing some trees and creating hazardous travel around the region.
Appalachian Power reported 188 customers without power in Cabell County, 413 customers without power in Wayne County and 1,820 customers without power in Putnam County.
AEP Ohio reported 426 customers in Lawrence County without power Sunday night.
Cabell County 911 reported very few weather-related calls, mostly burglar alarms set off from high winds.
The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory until 4 a.m. Monday.
