5th Avenue bridge reopens
HUNTINGTON -- The 5th Avenue bridge into Guyandotte reopened Tuesday evening just before 6 p.m.
The bridge had been closed since March 12 to repair a large sink hole on the Huntington side near the floodwall.
Jay Edwards, an inspector with the Huntington Sanitary Board, said the sink hole was discovered in late February. It was caused by a sewer line that failed.
