Veterans making W.Va. stops to talk environment
CHARLESTON -- Veterans on a nationwide bus tour are coming to West Virginia to talk about climate change.
The tour is sponsored by Operation Free, a coalition of veterans and others attempting to link climate change to national security threats.
The group is lobbying Congress to pass legislation that cuts pollution and develops clean energy incentives.
Stops were planned Sunday at noon at the Westover Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9916 in Morgantown and at 4 p.m. at the state Capitol in Charleston.
