Bacteria, disease topics at MU med center symposium

HUNTINGTON -- Bacterial "superbugs" will be among the topics for health professionals this Monday during the Marshall University Medical Center's Infectious Diseases and Critical Care Symposium.

A talk on methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, or MRSA, will begin at 8 a.m.

Other diseases under discussion include bloodstream infections, sepsis and ventilator-associated pneumonia.

All events are in the Harless Auditorium on the ground floor.
