Grace Christian School hosts graduation

Twenty-eight young men and women and their families gathered in the Grace Gospel Church Auditorium on Friday evening for Grace Christian School's commencement exercises.

Valedictorian Jacqui Lenee Johns and salutatorian Evan Langley Salyers addressed the class before the graduates heard from keynote speaker Jeff Davenport, senior pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Covington, Ky.

Five members of the class graduated with very high honors, another five graduated with high honors, and four graduated with honors.

Other upcoming graduations include: Spring Valley High School, Monday, May 20; Tolsia High School, Tuesday, May 21; Wayne High School, Wednesday, May 22; Fairland High School, Friday, May 24; St. Joseph Central Catholic High School, Friday, May 24; Cabell Midland High School, Saturday, May 25; Chesapeake High School, Saturday, May 25; Huntington High School, Saturday, May 25; South Point High School, Sunday, May 26; and Ironton High School, Sunday, May 26.
