Huntington Police Department unveils new police motorcycle

HUNTINGTON -- The Huntington Police Department, together with Clear Channel Radio, unveiled the city's newest police motorcycle Friday.

The vehicle was purchased with money raised at this year's Wings and Wheels event at Harris Riverfront Park. It generated $16,007 in funds.

The two-wheeled vehicles provide officers flexibility by allowing them to weave through busy traffic and drive off road into a park or along the riverbank when necessary in their duties.
