ASHLAND -- One person was killed about 5:45 a.m. Thursday in Ashland when an SUV crashed into the floodwall at 29th and Front streets, said Capt. Todd Kelley of the Ashland Police Department.
Police aren't investigating the crash as a traffic collision due to the severity of the crash, Kelley said.
An identification of the victim hasn't been released, he said.
Former Dunbar Mayor Roger Wolfe is appealing his ouster to the state Supreme Court.
