Grandparents raising children offered help
HUNTINGTON -- Mission West Virginia is offering a "warm line" for grandparents, offering resources by phone to those raising relative children.
The non-profit organization is inviting grandparents raising grandchildren to call 866-CALL-MWV to learn about family relationships, the school system, legal resource information, vaccinations, community resources, support groups, and various benefits available to grandparents.
Grandparents calling the warm line will be put in contact with professional social workers.
