Police: Cardiac problems may have lead to crash
POCA, W.Va. -- State police say cardiac arrest may have led to a fatal vehicle crash near Poca, W.Va., according to a recent press release issued by the West Virginia State Police in Charleston.
The vehicle accident happened about 1 p.m. Wednesday along Laurel Avenue near Poca. Investigators said Kathleen A. Dolin's vehicle left the roadway and continued down an embankment. The Poca woman's 1993 Oldsmobile struck a tree and stopped. She was pronounced dead at CAMC Teays Valley. She was 89.
Family members told investigators that Dolin had a history of cardiac-related problems.
