Huntington Rose Society announces winners

BARBOURSVILLE -- The Huntington Rose Society held its 54th annual rose show on Sept. 7 at the Huntington Mall in Barboursville.
Approximately 260 entries in various classes were placed for competition and judging. Awards were presented by Carrie Cline of WSAZ NewsChannel 3.

The winners, roses entered, and the sponsors of the trophies are listed below.
The C. F. Reuschlein Jewelers Trophy for Queen of Show, the rose judged best in show, was awarded to a hybrid tea named Stainless Steel, entered by David and Lois Ackers of Lancaster, Ohio.
