INTRODUCING: I have a new love. Her name is Emberlynn Cheyenne Barefield. She was born on April 22. The glow coming from my home is not because I'm burning more lights; my son tells me I actually light up when I see Emberlynn (a.k.a. Little Bit or Emmy by MawMaw Jill).
I actually feel that light...what is it that a grandkid does? She's too little to really "do" much...but she may as well have just won "American Idol" as far as I'm concerned; when I say her name, she turns actually straining to find her MawMaw Jill. Geez, when she grins and sticks her whole hand in her mouth I'm just convinced she's the smartest little critter in the world.
I promise, I'll try not to gush -- too often.
